Hanieh Khatibi (b. 1985, Tehran, Iran) is a Los Angeles-based artist whose interdisciplinary practice explores continuity, resistance, agency, and the interrelationships within nature and society. Working across installation, performance, and video, she draws on memory and everyday experience to examine durational engagement with space and site. Hanieh holds an MFA in Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts and a BFA in Graphic Design from Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University in Tehran.
